Nick at nite gets new logo

It was only this past April, that they changed the color to orange (to reflect nick), now the newest logo even looks more like nick's. Infact it is the same splat logo that nick uses, ezcept under nick there is "at nite", and it isn't a solid splat of orange(its more in the shape of the moon). Basically N@N doesn't look like a seperate network anymore, but instead some nick block. Oh, the one good thing is the network is back to be called "nick at nite" and not "nick@nite".

Here it is for those interested.

Interesting. The logo looks eerie, like something they'd use only for Halloween.

The new logo looks good. Im glad they have Home Improvement now on Nick at Nite. I don't know why people don't think this show should be on Nick at Nite. It is from the early to mid 90s. They can't air shows from the 80s all the time like Who's The Boss, etc. But I do agree with people saying George Lopez shouldn't be on Nick at Nite. That shows way to young. Early 2000s. Why not show Step By Step or another old show from TGIF on ABC. ABC Family doesn't have the rights do they?

As for TV Land, yeah they are a mess. What are they thinking of showing Extreme Makeover. Put that on TLC where it should be. Then Viacom make TV Land and TV Land 2. TV Land 1 (60s - 80s) TV Land 2 (80s - 00s)

I think MTV Networks own TV Land and Nick at Nite. I agree that perhaps a second TV Land channel is in order. Only I think it should be TV Land 1: 50s 60s and 70s, TV Land 2: 80s 90s and 00s, but then TV Land 2 is pretty much what you get on Nick at Nite right now except it would be 24/7.
Regardless, somethine is going terribly wrong at TV Land. Someone is making bad programming decisions.

TVLand used to run Nick at Nite, but they turned it over to Nickelodeon back when they changed the color to orange. That's also when you started seeing promos for Nick shows during Nick at Nite also, and shows like "America's Funniest Home Videos"

Viacom is making a new network. The old Nick Gas is going to turn into The N 24/7and then the current channel Noggin will be 24/7. Here's an idea would it be a bad idea for Nick to drop Nick at Nite and put Teen Nick or The N in its place? Not that I want to see Nite at Nite go.

While that sounds good, it would bump nick off "family teir" packages cable companies now offer. It never matter with noggin, since that was never on basic anyway.

More likely they'll make TV Land 2 60s and 70s and since it will be outside of Basic Cable, they'll charge us an extra $5 for it.

And just think, an extra $5 to watch reruns that second rate independents used to fill air time with. Just what we need...

It would be a terrible idea to drop Nick at Nite. It's one of the most watched nightly blocks on all of cable television.

I been watching Nick at Nite a few times this week as I like the show Home Improvement. Glad Nick brought this show to Nick at Nite. Sure its on TBS.

Oh and my cable company which is Time Warner just moved two Viacom channels that I thought were surpose to be digital channels from the digital to regular cable. Those channels are Noggin/The N and VH-1 Classic. And they moved Travel Channel to digital. Wonder why they did that.

They won't be getting rid of Nick at Nite anytime soon.. especially with the rights now to "Home Improvement" and the rights to "Friends" coming in 2011.

Something seems different about the episodes running on Nick-at-Nite. I think there's added dialogue, meaning when the show was airing on local stations like MY TV 59 they were cutting dialogue out.

Back when Nick @ Nite was running Growing Pains, I noticed differences compared to what was shown on WXIN FOX 59 in Indianapolis back in the late 80's and early 90's. (I recorded and have watched the WXIN airings many times over the years, so that's how I can remember this.) Nick @ Nite definitely edited out certain scenes during the main body of the show. On the other hand, while WXIN would leave in those scenes, they would edit out that final scene (generally not important to the main storyline) which aired right before the credits. (And watching the credits on the WXIN version, they would occassionally include a still image from that last scene - I always wondered where that had come from!)

I just wish sales of the Growing Pains Season 1 DVD had been better, so that they would have released the other seasons… :'(

Isn't it frustrating when shows you like only get one or two seasons released on DVD? It is especially annoying when the show was only on for two seasons like Here Come The Brides. Just put the second season out dammit! Yet we get terrible shows like Joey released on DVD. Nobody watched it when it was on TV, who the hell would want it on DVD?
