Nick Cannon to Host Nationally Syndicated Weekly Countdown Show

The new show will be ran by CBS Radio with the show will being syndicated by Citadel Media. Will be called Cannon's Countdown and will be heard on CBS and Citadel stations. Their will be two different types one for the Urban format and one for the CHR/Pop format.

Hmmmmmmm no KAMP FM in Los Angeles. That sucks ohh well thanks for the iphone app I can listen to it on WXRK in New York and hear how the show sounds. Good for Nick :)

Yea I was wondering why they wouldn't put it on 97.1 Amp Radio. I don't get that one.
 
I guess AMP wants to focus on music on the weekends which would explain why they dont have any jocks live on Saturday or Sunday. The station is boring on the weekends

And as anyone in LA can attest, we can sometimes spend more time in the car on a Saturday then we do on a weekday. Try getting anywhere on the 405 on a Saturday afternoon or evening. Its worse than the workday crawl.

Still, KAMP is boring on the weekends. They should try mixing like KPWR.
 
Amen from the 405 and to the 110 to the 10 east and west people going to Santa Monica ,Long Beach, Hollywood and Downtown traffic on Saturdays here suck. It would nice for KAMP to mix it up on the weekends. I find myself listening to KIIS on Saturdays. But yep a special show on the weekends would be nice

Heard on HOT 93.7 during the drive to work this morning. It sucks. He sucks. They got rid of a local DJ for this no talent hack. They were better when they had a local DJ in this time slot even with all the technical foul ups they used to have.

He doesn't suck. It's just that radio countdowns... "aren't exactly his thing" and he really should do something else other than that.
