Nick tells kids to go out and play...

The Kids Cable Network is going off the air for 3 Hours as it celebrates its annual National Day of Play. Yes, The Network that brought us SpongeBob is urging them to find something constructive besides watching TV. And Your TV is NOT your baby-sitter. Thanx 4 watching. :)

When is this scheduled to "air"? Or does this just mean another excuse to air Fresh Prince reruns?

I have to say while most people say "oh we ALWAYS played outside" I seem to recall it was because we were forced to. By the time I was teen I would sit myself now in front of the TV for hours and be a couch potato. But I never gained any weight, I suspect it's because I took up chain smoking at age twelve, something most kids don't do today because not only is it unhealthy but now when they are stressed they EAT.

The National day of play is TODAY (9/29) from 11 AM to 2PM (12 Noon to 3PM of you live out on the east coast & NYC). Again, Nick will go off the air at that time.
