this just in...i read right now..."nicole joins jack fm" this is on www.1059jack.com

anyone know who she is? two of my four Peak Broadcasting "friends" are no longer with the company, and i haven't heard back from the two who are still there

is jack fm adding jocks now??? anyone know? is jeff davis still pd??

Nicole who???why hire a no talent screeching voice girl? i say bring Jody Jo back on air. the morning shows numbers have tanked since she left, the new guy in charge obviously hasn't helped and the girl they hired doesn't know country or the audience. sorry part of this should've been on another board.

a girlfriend of mine at peak (she works for kiss) said it's his voice on jack and nicole will be taking his place he writes all the jokes, and hosts all the jack fm events...he does a bunch of other stuff there too...julie logan is the only y101 dj...nicole is not suppose to be a dj and i found this on him on myspace but it's not his page

At last folks... someone who knows his music and knows it well. He's been called the "walking music encyclopedia" because he knows the names of the songs, the groups or artists, the year it came out, the label and the album it came from. He spends most of his time collecting vinyl from the old school... preferably funk! Maybe that's why he's called "Da Funk Meista." Woody Pena began spinning vinyl at the Oasis in Sanger, CA back in 1989, and later moved to High Fly Bar & Grill in 1994. Woody was well known for his flow on the mic, and made a name for himself as M.C. Woody. He even made a record with The Unit, and met radio legend Art Laboe, in the process. That chance meet would come in handy. By 1995 Woody found himself on the radio, working for KQEQ Kickin’ 1220AM. No stranger to the microphone, Woody was a natural. When David Caudillo was named Program Director, he quickly made Woody his Music Director, and utilized Woody’s vast knowledge of music. Together they put together a music format that would start to shape Fresno radio. Woody was a favorite to host concerts and rock the mic at local clubs. David would always hit the stage first and introduce his old friend, and it was at live broadcast, New Years Eve, that David introduced Woody as “The Crazy Man” Needless to say, the name stuck. Woody went on to help bring in and train new on air talent. In 1999, that chance meeting with Art Laboe came in handy. Woody went to work for the Art Laboe owned KKPW Power 94 in Kerman, CA. The Crazy Man was now on FM!!! Woody lit up the night show, with his crazy and outgoing persona. By the end of 2000, Woody moved to Fresno radio powerhouse, Mega 97.9 where you would catch him Monday through Thursday from 6 pm to 10 pm and Saturdays from 10am to 3 pm. If you're having trouble finding something out about a particular song, chances are Woody can help you. Woody also hosted BLVD. Nights, a Sunday dedication show from 6p-10p. The Crazy Man dug deep into the Old School and knocked out all your favorite Cruisin’ Oldies….perfect for the BBQ and hanging out. Woody’s busy schedule includes making music in his recording studio and now playing with his band The Fabulous Malibu's! He dropped his first solo EP “Still Tha Funkiest” back in 2005, and in 2006 Woody put out his full length CD “Muziktwofrybye” His musical influences include the "real" funkmeister George Clinton of Parliament/Funkadelic, Larry Blackmon of Cameo, and the "Master Of The Talkbox" Roger Troutman of ZAPP! Woody’s “talkboxing” skills landed him a spot with local band "The Fabulous Malibu's", a new band put together and headed up by Arcelio Garcia of Malo...we are currently preparing to release our debut CD...COMING SOON!

as i said in another post david cauldio was the gm for art laboe at koko 94 in fresno, ca. i know he works for todd lawley at peak but i don't know what his title is. i first heard him when he did a kick ass morning show on jamming 1210am. i do know if you listen to the peak stations he's all over them and the jocks on the air have all worked with or should i say for him before, so perhaps he is the pd at jack. he even started danny salas and monqiue at b-95. dannyd was "eric" and monique went by monie "love" but howard cogan is the voice of jack, not david c. i don't see how this nicole would replace david or howard

Nicole does not have a voice for radio. If I hear her singing on that one spot one more time....

wow...ratings just came out...Jack fm took a dump in december!!!! hmmm wonder why

They had the same ratings in the fall, they are still the best for the 80s alternative.

I meant the summer. The BLAZE is better for 80s metal over the FOX. as far as the 90s KFRR 104.1 and the BLAZE is better than KRZR ,104.1 is the best for NEW ROCK. KRZR used to be the best ,but not any more.

Hey RADIO EARS! Nice to FINALLY be a part of this forum and radio world! Question is, why is my bio on this thread? lol...I think you're probably trying to pull up Jeff Davis' bio or David Caudillo's bio...I think they still have their bios at www.mega979.com
