Thanks for posting the transmitter reading, now are you going to post the transmitter logs?
I think this *is* the contractor! 🤡Why would there be 50 watts of forward power, and 24 watts of reflected power. Sounds like a quality escape in the engineering department. If it is beyond the Assistant Diector of Technology's field of expertise, he could always call in a contractor to handle this problem.

The picture is bogus.I just went back and looked at the picture..
If the transmitter was running 50 FWD and 24W RFL, SWR should shut that down.. i have worked with transmtiters that shut down on way less then 50 percent reflected.
If not, someones defeated the SWR shut down protection and will burn up that transmitter shortly
OR...
The picture is bogus.
That looks like an old 1990s era 100 watt Elettronika FM. The displays were notoriously inaccurate. The picture is bogus.
So wouldn’t posting the transmitter logs back up what the picture says? That’s why I asked about them being posted. I wasn’t demanding they be posted.I just went back and looked at the picture..

OR... theyve somehow muted the RF from going out but have momentarily changed the settings to something lower
Somethign is fishy here
We have to wait til tomorrow’s paper comes outcan we see the 104.5 transmitter lol I mean it's in the next room.
I’m curious about the actual output of 94.1 and 105.3. Their coverage shouldn’t be comparable with KAMAcan we see the 104.5 transmitter lol I mean it's in the next room.
The FCC inspector needs to barge into the Wells Fargo building and look at every single transmitter up there. Without telling anyone. Have another inspector a mile away continuously record the field strengths of every translator in case the owner remotely turns down the power upon seeing the inspector on camera.
And have the police there in case someone shows up during the inspection and threatens to throw him off the roof.

Sounds like a question for the Junior Assistant Director of Technology at Univision. Since KAMA is clearly one of the radio stations in the Houston Univision cluster.View attachment 5516
Well guys it was nice discussing radio with y'all. @HoustonLife got me locked up for life. I didn't know K223CW-FM's originating station was really KAMA HD7. And when I thought I heard the translator in Baytown I was really in Montrose. Don't make the same mistakes I did.
OK, sure. So what's the originating station? It is a matter of record that K223CW carries Sugar Land baseball (it's a great ballpark, btw!)This is a false accusation and our legal team is going to pursue action against anyone who causes harm to these stations. I reiterate that every single station I represent, including K223CW-FM is in compliance with all FCC rules.
In that case, my recommendation is that the Federal Communications Commission call out a special strike team, and raid this rogue baseball team, just as they did with Houston Radio Platinum not too long ago. It doesn't matter if they aren't the licensee of the translator, and it doesn't matter if no citations are issued or no boxes of allegedly-classified materials are seized. The point is harasment, not enforcement. There's no FCC rule that allows a translator to break away from its originating station for a three-hour baseball game.
