Your 610 was probably KCSP/Kansas City. 870 may have been the MN station if they were still on day power/pattern. As for 1080, the only one I could find with SRN news (Salem Radio Network) would be WHIM/Miami. They do have a lobe that goes NNW from Miami. 1170 may have been WDEK/Lexington, SC. They have been caught on day-power at night before so I wouldn't be surprised if it was them. 1250 should be WGL/Ft. Wayne, IN. 1590 likely WTVB/Coldwater, MI. The others I'm not sure about.

Looks like I may have caught two stations running on their day rigs!! KPRM runs 25kW nondirectional day and has a classic country format while WDEK runs 10kW nondirectional day with an oldies format. And WDEK is a daytimer!! WHIM is 50kW day and 10kW night (I've never gotten either WTIC or KRLD at night)

1170 could have also been KJOC from Davenport Iowa. A classic hits/oldies outlet that's the current incarnation of the former legendary top-40 KSTT. This station is only 1kw with a very tight pattern aimed north. At least theoretically. It's been fairly regular here in the Chicago area for the past 2-3 years. Until then, it was a rarity here...except around sunrise/sunset on day pattern.

That said, KSTT/KJOC has always had a good nighttime signal in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota (along with far western Ontario). That's because 1170 has always been a pretty open channel in the upper Midwest, given that the area is in the nulls of both WWVA and KFYI (ex-KVOO). So, if current owner Cumulus is being lax in maintaining the pattern, it wouldn't take much for this to be widely heard outside of its normal nighttime coverage area.

1290 likely WHIO/Dayton, OH

What kind of music were you hearing on 1320? If it was country, you may have heard one of my locals, WOBL from Oberlin, OH

I'd favor KCSP, since they're non-directional day and night...quite a rarity on a regional channel.

I heard KPRM with classic country on 870 and a positive ID in the N. Chicago suburbs the last couple of nights. There was also a statement that they were running 1,000 watts, which agrees with the FCC records for nighttime operation. They have an application in to go from 40 kW daytime ND to 50 kW daytime with a 3 tower array using the same antenna constants that they are currently running for their nighttime signal. Unfortunately the pattern plot was not available. The nighttime power remains 1 kW for the new facilities. Perhaps they are testing the new 50 kW daytime directional pattern at night?

KJOC looks more likely, as it (a) has been heard in Chicago recently and (b) can legally run at night.

KCSP would not be a shocker, as I once got WHB during daytime in Manistee a few years ago. And I'm in KPRM's null, but skywave can go against the nulls. CIAO is not a surprise either, as I did get that at night in Manistee once. Do the Cubans make it into Michigan at night?

No KFAB 1110? They make it out this way (to Washington state) fairly regularly during winter, in back of regional KBND, usually in the form of slapback echo on the C2C program, and sometimes you can hear their ID's, local news and spots. Is there a local covering that frequency up? Just curious.

KFAB and WBT both have nulls in this direction.

Agree. KCSP has a good omnidirectional signal. WIP, IIRC, aims most of its nighttime signal in the general direction of Atlantic City and subsequently out into the ocean.
