Nightime AM bandscan Louisville, KY

A quickie. Pre-dawn this morning, Louisville, KY. SRF-37 Walkman. Hotel room with moderate thunderstorm activity in the area.
Here are a few highlights....

540: All WAUK-fair with some fading
640: Cuba-fair
650: WSM-good
670: WSCR-fair/poor under local 680. No significant signal from Cuba
700: WLW-poor. A case of being in the convergence zone, apparently.
710: Cuba-fair/poor. The chorus complete with echo.
720: WGN-fair/poor
740: CFZM-poor with something underneath....presumably KRMG
750: WSB-fair/good
760: WJR-fair
780: (no WBBM under local 790)
800: CKLW-poor, but on top
810: WGY-fair/good
860: CJBC-fair
870: WWL-fair/good
890: WLS-Fair
1000: WMVP-good
1010: unid Spanish-fair/good with some fading
1020: KDKA-poor. Once again "underachieving"
1030: WBZ-fair. A little surprising given that I didn't hear anything from the NYC blowtorches
1100: WTAM-good
1120: KMOX-fair
1150: CKOC-poor, but on top of the mess. A mild surprise
1160: WYLL-fair/good. I didn't quite expect this one, either.
1470: WMBD-good. Another one I didn't expect
1510: WLAC-poor. Unexpected...in a different way. I thought they'd be pretty strong.
1530: WCKY-weak
1540: KXEL-fair

I was surpised myself that splatter wasn't an issue with WHAS. My hotel was in the eastern part of the metro....which is also where the WHAS stick is located. But with WHAS nulled, the radio was aimed right at CJBC/CFZM. The two are diplexed, but for whatever reason, CFZM had a fairly lousy signal, while CJBC had a fairly decent one.
