Nightly News--Live

NBC fed a live Nightly News to the Mountain time zone at 5:30 today,
primaries and various poll closing times no doubt driving this effort.

In the lead story, Brian Williams mentioned it was "a little after 7:30
Eastern time..."

Over on the CBS side, KPHO-TV flipped their 6:30 local 'cast with
Katie (Couric, not Raml) in order to run a live left coast feed of the
Evening News at 6:30 (5:30 PT).

Meanwhile, at the evolving blonde-to-brunette station, while I don't
know if ABC offered a live feed of Charlie Gibson at 5:30 MT, KNXV-TV
aired the usual hour-old 6:30 ET feed. Clues: at least one "Live ET"
font, and in the (exterior) anchor shot from Dallas it was much too
light outside to have been 6:30 CT, especially since sunset tonight at
Love Field was 6:27.

Great idea that NBC and CBS go with the live feed during this crucial primary day. I didn't change the channel to KPHO at 6:00 to even though I normally peek in to see what Katie C. is talking about.

Not sure if you noticed, but Jenn Burgess hair is now a lighter shade. :-*
