Nighttime AM IBOC Approved

The worst news I've seen in a long time. One of my local AM's is running IBOC during the day. Their analog audio sounds like a phone call from Pakistan that is being run thru a kazoo. And the sideband splatter wipes out about 1/4 of the dial.

I think it's a joke, but the FCC is so afraid they might blow it again like they did with am stereo and they acted quickly. It's a rush to market thanks to NPR and the money changers and yes, maybe Clear Channel. I've never am IBOC but I understand it sounds like a bad windows media feed.

I'm amazed at how bad the 50kw signals sound at night in analog, like WRVA. God, they are killing radio. And they will wonder whey people have gone satellite!
