Nikki Sixx' "SixxSense" Starting On The Fox in January

Mr. Bill & Melany Myers are no longer with WRFX, & off their website.

Mark Kessler is the PM Driver, & "Morgan" is handling 7-12 until:

There's no one in the world quite like Nikki Sixx, & there's nothing on the Radio quite like his show, "SixxSense". Each night, he'll be talking about the music & topics on everybody's mind, but filtered through the unique perspective of someone who has seen it all, done it all, & is still hungry for more. You'll get a backstage look into the world and mind of a rock star. But not just any rock star, Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue. You'll get the inside stories that others are too afraid or ashamed to tell. Nikki will get straight, honest talk from special celebrity guests, bands & friends, no matter how notorious or nefarious. Plus, he'll play all the hottest music in rock. The program airs nationwide Monday through Friday from 7pm to midnight, local time.

Kerri Kasem, daughter of the famous host of American Top 40 Casey Kasem, is Nikki's co-host.

It's about time the Fox became more of a rocker.

Even though WVBZ100.3/The Buzz - Greensboro/High Point/Winston-Salem already broadcasts it & SixxSense Active Rock music, I wonder if the Fox will have the program customized to it's Classic Rock format.

Yes they will. The Sixx show is currently on in Augusta, GA with Eagle 105.7. And they do play the same old and over played classic rock tracks found on all CC classic rock stations.

Is this the same Nikki Sixx that's on WROV 96.3 Martinsville/Roanoke/Lynchburg? I heard some promos yesterday.

It's the bass player for Motley Crue and Sixx A.M.'s syndicated radio show. I'm not sure if they do a different feed for each format (i.e. active rock, classic rock, modern rock) or if each station programs the playlist and inserts songs when appropriate.

SixxSense starts it's broadcast tonight (1/3) @7pm

Even though Nikki says it's the Carolinas' debut (the Fox wants it's listeners to think that it's the only station broadcasting Sixx Sense) in actuality, The Buzz - 100.3WVBZ - Greensboro/High Point/Winston-Salem has been broadcasting it for a few years, as well as WEND106.5/HD2
