NJ 101.5 traffic

has anyone ever heard an up to date traffic report on this station?

Was sitting in thirty minutes of traffic on 287 this afternoon. I know it's never usually reliable on this station, but i tune in anyway. traffic guy reports 287 flowing fine. meanwhile, thirty minutes later, i spot a burnt out tractor trailer with no front on it. it gets frustrating when they seem to be the only ones who have traffic on the weekdays :)

Happens all the time on the parkway during the weekend too... hear about an accident and a mile backup somewhere along the parkway for 40 minutes, we get to it, nothing. 20 minutes after the spot, it's still being reported :)...

I always use NJ-101.5 for traffic in New Jersey even though the signal in Bergen County is not good.....It's much better then the NYC News stations (WCBS 880 & WINS 1010) as I don't care whats going on in NYC, Long Island, Westchester etc......NJ-101.5 will even mention accidents on I-287 and Route 17 in Mahwah and in that area 101.5 is mostly WPDH

I have found using my Verizon Droid X with the Philly Area Traffic app connecting into the 511 system gives me up to date cameras in great locations in NJ PA & DE. They update every 5 seconds and are a lot more reliable than stale traffic reports. Why can't the traffic services rely on DOT systems and just observe what the cameras indicate and not keep reporting backups 45 minutes after everything is cleared?

Their traffic reports for the shore areas are the worst.

I have yet to hear a timely traffic report for anywhere south of Toms River, usually when and if they mention anything in Southern Ocean County, Atlantic County or Cape May County it is so outdated that it is useless, IF they even mention anything at all.

i'll have to see if they have an iphone version.... i usually check ten ten wins online but that doesn't help when i'm on the road :)
