NJ 101.5

When I lived in Princeton NJ up until a year ago, I always listened to NJ101.5 on the weekends....especially Big Joe Henry.

How is NJ101.5 doing in the ratings? Are they a factor or competition to WOFL?

You can see ratings by clicking the ratings tab at the top of the page.

WOFL? No such radio station in New Jersey or any place else.

If you're interested in what people saying about NJ 101.5, mostly it's discussed on the New Jersey Board (not the New York board and not the Philadelphia board). ;)

I think NJ 101.5 plays/played classic hits on the weekends, so perhaps the "F" in WOFL was a typo, as the "G" is right next to it on the keyboard. I bet this poster meant WOGL. You think?

Can anyone explain the booming echo that accompanies the station every time i tune it in?

Reverb. And it's pretty much unheard of now by today's standards.

Helps surround empty, talentless words.

NJ101.5 has heavy reverb which they couple with slam-it-to-the-wall audio processing I tune them in occasionally, but the overdone audio processing gives me a headache after a few minutes.

The reverb during the talk shows has to go I feel like im listening to people talk in a tunnel

NJ 101.5 is extremely successful. How come nobody has tried to duplicate the formula anywhere else?
