NJ 101.5's Racquel Williams says farewell...

Yes she is... I just heard her on on 101.9 along with Alice Stockton-Rossini. She stumbled a bit on her report though, which is uncharacteristic of her usually perfect delivery. Perhaps there are some other distractions which she isn't used to.

Were they talking about chocolate? ::)

Seriously, good luck to Racquel. Something tells me this won't be the last NJ 101.5 alum that Walter Sabo hires away to work at 101.9.

No chocolate. If I recall correctly, it was a news story that involved breastfeeding mothers. Definitely pointing towards the (often-rumored) targeted women's audience.

I'm not sure who else from 101.5 they might lure in. Somehow, I don't think Casey Bartholomew would fit the targeted audience. Jill Myra, maybe? In addition to traffic, she has done talk, filling in for Judi Franco during a maternity leave years ago, and did quite well. Maybe even meteorologist Alan Kasper?

something tells me NJ 101.5 is going down hill slowly but surly!.. And I agree more 101.5 alum's are going to end up possibly in NY

That was obviously an unedited pre-recorded report. I heard the exact same piece in two separate casts with the same double take. :-\

Alan Kasper once did weather on WCBS-2 New York. :)
