I noticed this morning as I was monitoring the new Big Mama show on Wired965
that they had alot of New Jersey clients(spots) and callers from NJ..

Is the signal better in NJ? Ratings is all greek to me..
Do they show a big Jersey audience ?


They seem to be advertising Wired965 in Philly area..on the Septa buses etc..

I just thought it odd as it is not a Jersey station..

Their sales people have probable just been prospecting and making some sales across the river. alot of the Philly stations across all formats have Jersey advertisers on-air, since the philly stations are all heard crystal clear in NJ.
I'm surprised that the cherry-hill triplex isn't on more often that it is on philly stations.

Another possibilty I just thought of was the staff may be answering the
Jersey phone line more often to show the new Jersey advertisers they have Jersey listeners.
Do Philly residents regularly shop in Jersey?? I don't know as I don't travel to Jersey myself. Wired965 may have a cheaper ad rate then others in Philly.

DING DING DING! We have a winner. How about the second cheepest behind only WPPZ. And the Cherry Hill Triplex is the biggest advertiser on both stations because of that fact.
