NJ101.5 refugees on the air

I turned on my radio this afternoon and heard Alan David Stein on Magic 98.3, and Don Tandler on The Breeze -- which is also home to Lauren Pressley. Meanwhile, there's Big Jay Sorenson on Oldies 100.1 WJRZ.

Have any other former NJ101.5 personalities found homes -- either temporary or permanent -- on other stations in and around NJ?

Not in & around, but you can hear Roberta Gale via your computer from KFYI, Phoenix, Arizona from their website Saturday nights 6-8pm Phoenix time.

I don't know if you would really consider this a true, "on-air" job. But, I'm currently working at the Wegman's, on route 1. Every so often they let me make the announcements, over the intercom, about aisle clean-ups, and deli specials. That's sort of, "on-air," isn't it? It's not much, but it's all I have.

It wasn't mean to be a mock...I really didn't know that there was a Wegmans there. <P ID="signature">______________

Well, okay....If you will excuse me, now, some kid spilled his milk in aisle 2. I'm on mop duty, tonight.

Hmm, I thought you were working at PathMark instead. Did you get canned for dropping an F-bomb over the PA system?

I don't know what you are talking about. I am working at Wegman's, I tell you. Wegman's. These stories about this Charleston station are bogus, and meant to make me feel bad about myself. I'm doing stock, at Wegman's. Come on in, sometime, and I will get you a discount on breakfast cereal.

Considering your performance on 101.5, I expect that Wegman's to be boarded up tomorrow morning.

(In Merv Griffin affect)

I am content in my stocking duties.

With technology these days, you could be in Charleston and still do those supermarket announcements in West Windsor. I actually used to do those for a side gig, with a place called Actmedia in Connecticut. For 5 years, my voice boomed out in supermarkets all over America. I'm so proud.:)

It's in Nassau Park, on the Kohl's/Target side. Casey has a lot of aisles to cover, it's something like 80,000 or 90,000 square feet.

I just found Roberta in AZ last week. From the good ole days at 101.5 (mid-90's) ...

Hilarie Barsky recently filled in a WBAP in Dallas and either has or had a show on Sirius' Women Talk station. Before that she was apparently at Canada's CFUN.

Dominski and Doyle are still at the station they left 101.5 for ... WKRK in Detroit doing drive time.

But, then I would not get the customer interaction that I so enjoy.

"How are you today, ma'am? I'm fine. I'm always fine."

Also, I understand that there are snakes, and creepy bugs, in Charleston. Why would I want to live there?

If you are not the Casey that is on in Charleston, then I think you should find out how he can use your name and have your distinctive voice and have a bio talking about greyhound dogs as pets. And we always know you are fine always fine. In this day with the way computers are you can be in your house close to 101.5 and be broadcasting there without any problem

How do you know we have the same voice??

Can you hear me, right now??

Are you watching me, as I sit in my two-bedroom townhouse, in West Trenton??

As for the name, well, if I had a nickel for every Casey Bartholomew I have ever met, I would be a rich man.

I listened to you the whole time you were on 101.5 (didn't like you in the beginning missed D&D) and even taped the last 90 minutes of you last show. And listened to the bits on the wkrk web site and even joined the club. Blast sound like a stalker but now live in Florida.
