NJN-HD and Comcast

Does Comcast carry NJN in High Definition on any of their New Jersey systems?

My TiVo lists WNJS on 241 near the Philly HD channels, but it's not actually there on my Comcast lineup. According to NJN's website, they carry programs in high definition. We do get the big 6 network channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, WB, UPN) and WHYY in digital/HD though. It'd be also nice if Comcast carried PBS You and PBS Kids channels, as they are on NJN's digital subchannels.

Garden State Cable/Cherry Hill does not carry WNJS-DT.

local digital/HD

I got my UHF antenna installed as a backup to Comcast, and am receiving KYW(CBS), WPVI(ABC), WCAU(NBC), WHYY(PBS), WPHL(WB), WNJS(PBS, PBS You, PBS Kids), WTXF(Fox), WYBE, WMCN(waste of bandwith), WGTW(TBN), WPSG(UPN), WPPX(Pax/i,Praise-waste of bandwith), WUVP(Univision, and WFPA-Telefutura) and WFMZ in digital(and HD) in Marlton NJ, along with several low powered (mostly home shopping) stations, though in analog. I get WFMZ-DT clear, where WFMZ's analog isn't able to reach clearly here. I get WLVT, WBPH and WTVE in analog fuzzy, but no digital.

I'm surprised where is Telemundo (WWSI)? I live closer to WWSI's C.O.L than WFMZ. I get a awful picture of their analog signal, and no digital. I thought Philadelphia was the fourth largest TV market, or 17th Spanish, but it should be of some importance to NBC.

I suppose NBC doesn't care an iota that their Telemundo outlet(affiliate, though not owned by them) has no signal presence here, except on cable not in all areas, and satellite with a second dish.

Then again from a HDTV watcher, does Telemundo have any High Definition? Maybe of soccer events or anything?

I also heard that TBN does digital multicasting, but I see no The Church Channel on WGTW-2 or anything. Maybe it's in the works.

WWSI's transmitter is located in Little Egg Harbor, NJ, off Rt 539 by Frog Pond Road. It's near to the new Southern Ocean County sports complex. You should be able to see it from the Garden state Parkway at about exit 58.<P ID="signature">______________

Is it true that their tower is the tallest structure in New Jersey?

I am reasonably sure the tallest structure in New Jersey is 30 Hudson Street in Jersey City.

Why couldn't they use Waterford Works to put up their digital tower? What power are they operating at? They are probably still having to foot a fiber optic bill to DirecTV and Comcast, as WWSI analog still wouldn't come clear in Philly and their digital isn't available far.
