NJN

NJN is a waste of time.

WHYY is by far a better PBS station, it's no wonder WHYY makes millions of dollars in donations from NEW JERSEY viewers.

There was an incident on the DIY show "Hometime" (produced by WHYY) years ago that makes me wonder. The hosts were describing how to install exterior lighting. They went into excruciating detail on how to wire it and how to set up the whole apparatus. Then right at the very end almost in passing they mention "oh yeah, remember to turn the power off at the fuse box before you start" and blew right on to the next segment.

So sorry guys. The single MOST important thing is to turn the power off first. Anything else is secondary. Don't just blow it off.

I've regarded anything coming out of WHYY as suspect ever since.

Have you experienced severe head trauma recently?
WHYY is the worst PBS station I have ever seen period.
From what I have seen of their on air "talent" during a pledge drive, the station is run by a bunch of self important eliteist pricks who are better then its viewers.
Anyway the station is supposed to serve Delaware, but from what I have heard does not.
Other than the insipid Hometime, I can't name one other thing the station has produced. It is as if it is the anti-WNET, which actually has New Jersey programs, since its COL is Newark.

NJN is much better than WHYY and it actually serves New Jersey.
NJN News focuses on the stories that the adjacent markets ignore.
I recall one time only two TV stations covered something within sight of Philadelphia, the two WNBC and NJN.
