NJPTV Studios

Any information on where NJN's successor will be located? They're currently using Channel 13's (still licensed to Newark) studio in Manhattan.

For historic reasons I'd like to see them back at 1020 Broad Street where New Jersey's first television station (WATV) began in 1948, and later home to WNTA-13 and WNJU-47.

I would love to see that too. The main studio (originally a ballroom) on the second floor of Newark Symphony Hall (Mosque Theater) is huge! At one time, it was actually the largest tv studio in the country, exceeded by the NBC Toscanini studio, today used for SNL.
Adjacent to the main studio was a very small "flash news" studio. There was studio space on the fourth floor but I believe it was never used except as a rehearsal hall. Today it houses a dance studio.
The second floor studio is used by a theater group.
A third mid sized studio used to be located just off the entrance lobby. it was used for awhile by WNDT/13 and is now used for meetings and banquets.
The roof tower that was used to receive microwave broadcasts has been gone for many years.
