NJTV only on NJN1? What about NJN2?

When NJTV begins broadcasting tonight at Midnight, will WNET be programming both former NJN stations, NJN & NJN2? If you goto NJN's website and click on the schedule for tomorrow, it lists the NJTV programming on NJN1. They list NJN2 off the air.

According to the FAQ on the NJ TV website

I get a message that NJN-2 is not available in my viewing area. Why not?

As part of the effort to streamline operations and be more budget-conscious, the NJN-2 feed has been phased out. The programming, while airing at a different time, was the same as was available on NJN-1

Kinda BS if you ask me. Why couldn't they keep NJN-2 as a loop of their local news? This way I can get it on "my" schedule?

Or WNET could just add a PBS subchannel the way they have on their 2 other PBS stations. Maybe Montclair State could program NJN2. They said they want to be on the air.

After a rescan, I noticed two channels, both currently blank, that I never had before: 8-101 and 8-102. I did read that WNET was going to try to get channel 8 in NYC to use for NJTV. Does anyone have any details as to what is happening?

Why does WNET not Put WLIW on a NJTV sub channel and get it more cable covrege in Central New Jersey.

A great idea! Of the three PBS stations available in North Jersey, the one I would miss most would be WLIW. Being able to grab it off the air would be a plus.

I know people who switched from cable to satellite just to get WLIW. Having it more available to cable, and OTA viewers in NJ would be a big plus for the entire PBS brand, and all three WNET.ORG stations.
