NJTV only on NJN1? What about NJN2?

When NJTV begins broadcasting tonight at Midnight, will WNET be programming both former NJN stations, NJN & NJN2? If you goto NJN's website and click on the schedule for tomorrow, it lists the NJTV programming on NJN1. They list NJN2 off the air.

According to their FAQ, NJN2 was taken off the air - it was the same programs as NJN1, just at different times (per the FAQ).

Too bad we didn't get PBS Kids (at least on WNJS). My FIos lists it still on channel 476 on the guide but, you cannot tune to that channel.

Our local PBS station (WITF) doesn't have any of the themed subchannels...

Likewise, WVIA in Scranton has at least a "Kids" and "Create" channel.

I believe WHYY runs the "full gamut" of PBS subchannels, as well.

WVIA does not have a kids channel.

I have no idea what you mean about WHYY, since they don't carry anything but World and a locally-produced (as far as I can tell) subchannel. Create and V-Me are on WLVT.

It seems most of the time one of the channel, 12.2, Y-arts is showing Create. On Fios, it is 2 channels away from channel 39's Create, 39.4. A lot of the time, both the channels are showing the same programming. I think channel 12 did this as a cost cutting measure a couple of years ago. Both of channel 12's subchannels Y-info, 12.3 and Y-arts, 12.2 used to be 100% locally produced. Now it 100% for Y-info and ?% for Y-arts. I still would like to see NJTV give 1 or 2 subchannels especially since they program 2 subchannels on both channel 13 and their other PBS station on Long Island and the fact that NJN also already had one subchannel on both Fios and Xfinity.
