No 5AM local news on WMTW today

With no explanation Portland's ABC affiliate didn't air a local newscast at 5AM today; ABC's "America This Morning" aired in its place. Local news began at 5:30AM. Time will tell if this was a one-time event related to a technical glitch or a sign of things to come. Stay tuned...
 
A power outage forced the station to go with network for the first half-hour. Still, it's weird that they didn't explain the situation on the air.
