No After Ron Chapman Bounce For "Sunny?"

It wouldn't surprise me if Clear Channel had been hoping to get a bounce in the numbers for the Sunny morning show after Ron Chapman retired. Perhaps that bounce never came, and now they're giving up.

The first arbitrend of the summer book isn't even out yet. This will be the first "after retirement" trend for all the morning shows. A bounce? We'll see who gets one and who doesn't later this week.

No doubt about it. Even if the Sunny morning show had much better numbers than Chapman, it would not have changed any decisions about going to a Hispanic format.
