No Beck, No Hannity in Philly?

There's too much editorialization of news going on. I don't see the point in rambling for 3 hours a day about your personal political opinion on something, It's not possible for a human being to have an opinion on that many issues and still know what one's talking about. People should ditch the majority of "commentators" and turn to real news. Real news is not about finding a dude who agrees with your political opinion, that's what drinking buddies are for.

Real news is generally broadcasted on the top and bottom of the hour. Talk shows are for entertainment and gives people a chance to call in and give their opionions.

The trouble with Wallbanger and the Hemmoroid with Ears is that all they talk is politics and how (especially Wallbanger) the Republicans are good and the Democrats are bad. Once you hear on show, you heard most of them all. Wallbanger does a good job around election time and brings in pollsters from different stripes, but who wants to hear about elections every single day when they are a long time off?

Oh, I'm perfectly aware of how programming works, and I love talkshows. But there's a difference between a talkshow and a "commentator" show. There's absolutely no point in having a "two-party media", where one side defends the democrats and the other side fights for the republicans. It's dishonest. The problem is not editorials, the problem is the ratio between editorials and real news. And the fact that a lot of people choose editorial over real news, because they don't want news. They want their own beliefs fortified because that's more comfortable.
