Radio-info.com was down for a period of time today (Thursday, 12/2), right while the Boston PPMs were due. For some reason, no market displayed radio station cumes, just raw percentages. One observation: Entercomm could do WBOS-FM a favor if it took WMKK off the Peabody stick and put it on the pipsqueak antenna in the financial district!

Ok, Allaccess.com had cumes for Boston, and despite a gap between WMKK's and WBOS's ratings, their cimes are closer...maybe the same people.

Re: BOSTON ARBITRON PPM RATINGS RELEASED: NOVEMBER 2010

Age 6+ overall publicly released data for the period Thu. 10/14/10 to Wed. 11/10/10.
Next monthly report will be for December 2010 (Thu. 11/11/10 to Wed. 12/8/10) with the release date of Tue. 12/28/10.

Other sites for ratings that would show cume:

98.5 "highest ratings yet", WEEI "fight of its life". Tied for #1 in 25-54 male

98.5's ratings in 18-49 are twice what WEEI gets. Picturing Jason Wolfe in the role of
Chip Diller (Kevin Bacon) from Animal House, at an Entercom meeting: "Remain calm!
All is well??!?!?!?"'
Any word if someone on Guest St. is designing a "WEEI 93.7" logo? :)

Steely Dan: "Lots of static and gall, lots of static and gall... A...M!" :)

Methinks this is due in large part to the Patriots and the good season they are having. Once the season comes to an end, people will shift their focus to WEEI for Celts while some will stay with Sports Hub for Bruins. Then spring will come and all will migrate to WEEI once again for Red Sox.

This will be a pendulum depending on what sports season we're in.

Boston Sports Media watch says this is Jason Wolfe's first really big challenge; Bruce Allen says
they're getting beaten in am and pm drive and they can't do much in way of changes there
because Ordway, Dennis, and Callahan are all locked into big contracts. (Those 3 are the station's
heavy hitters but now the "other team" is doing pretty well with what they have...) True that
once Pats season ends and C's second half & Sox season begins the pendulum can swing back
EEI's way

FYI: Mike FM is tied for 5th in AQH Rtg with Adults 25-54 in prime (M-F 6A-7p). Why would they blow that up?

They wouldn't "blow that up"...they would just be moving it to another signal.

The cumes finally arrived a couple of days late! The cume for WXKS-AM 1200 seems to have risen above the capacity of Gellete Stadium (that's the way it was spelled on some phony tickets advertised on Craig's List). Providence is now a PPM market, and WXKS-AM garnered about 8,000 listeners there...so we're talking about the total population of Lowell, Mass tuning into AM 1200 at least once.

Those are 6 plus not 25-54 and still no sign of WWZN
Clr Chnl is prob making money, first from the profits of the FMs, and second they're selling ads
on the AMs. There is no need for a fan of conservative talk radio to buy time on a third-
tier station to run shows, unlike Santos.
