NO DEFENSE FOR NJ101.5 HERE

I have never posted anywhere but I have to voice my outrage and disappointment to the unprofessional conduct today by Dennis and Judi that I heard live with my kids on NJ101.5. just after 1 PM.

I've decided NOT to buy satellite radio because I choose for my children not to hear vulgarity in my car nor my house. I would like to thank Craig Carton for replaying it and proving the station does have the evidence tape when the FCC requests it. Destroying the tape might be a tampering with the evidence situation.

Dennis made a snide comment that his partner is learning how to turn on a mic.

Judi says F.U. I would love to do it just to see your face. Dennis says DO IT then Judi says Fu_K You. Dennis says the phone lines are ringing then silence followed by laughter by Dennis.

First rule of broadcasting, never ever say a vulgarity in the studio. If it goes out on the air people have been fired on the spot for it.
This to me was NOT an accident Dennis the dope dared Judi to say it and she was dumb enough to do it.

Like them or not the FCC has rules and so do I. Regardless of how much the FCC may fine the station I will never trust or listen to Dennis and Judi again. Advertisers of the Dennis and Judi program have to be mortified.

I didn't hear the original broadcast but I did catch when Craig replayed it. Dennis the dope as you called him said Do it then added I would love to see your face when I don't hit the dump button. Judi went ahead and said it anyway.
The FCC will have a field day with Dennis and Judi making them the poster children for indecent broadcasting as they are really cracking down.

Did Malloy really NOT hit the dump button when Judi said the
F-word?? I assume the original post was stating that the whole
word was spoken (not edited as her post was). That is hard to
imagine.

Dennis and Judi are the only reasons why I listen to NJ 101.5, well, except for Roberta in the month of February. If you're going to sit there and tell me that they dropped the F bomb, let alone, encouraging to say it or dare or what have you, then please, let me eat the mic. For crying out loud, your name MEDIAMOMMY says enough about you. Hold me back from getting bitchy with you, but please, Dennis and Judi are hosting a midday show, a time when people don't really give a (BLEEP) what people usually say, because we all hear much, much worse at where we work/play, etc. Kids don't usually listen during midday, for they are expected to be learning at school. If parents are going to begin a rally against two radio show hosts that remind us it's ok to laugh at work, then bring it on you pathetic holy rollers. IF you're that much in an uproar about possible cursing, then turn your Goddamn radio onto Star 99.1.. Safe for the WHOLE FAMILY. I'll still buy from the advertisers..Hell, I'd advertise myself if they pull out... Secondly, unless your kids are sick or they're delinquent kids who play hookie, or they're like 1 or 2 years old, they wouldn't comprehend the F word. Lastly, don't even tell me they haven't heard the F word from their parents before. Like I said.......

I, too, only listen to 101.5 for Dennis and Judy. I will listen to Jim for a little bit, but he keeps interrupting all of the commercials. The Jersey guys are Stern wannabes, yet they don't come close to making the grade.
As for kids listening, I don't see why kids would tune into them. Dennis and Judy talk about topics that kids just don't have an interest in. They aren't known for being 'shock' jocks, and they don't play the latest lousy music.
As for mediamommy, if your kids have never heard a bad word, they wouldn't know a word is bad to begin with. Get over it!

So much for License renewal in June. Serves them right if the FCC pulls them off the air. They all think there big shots and know everything just because they have a microphone. Just play oldies and get rid of the stupid childness talk and clutter plus shorten the traffic and weather to 2 mins instead of a turn off 5 min.

Why are Bootlegger and Mediamommy the same person? Sound like somebody trying to stir up some discussion?!!

F....u..ck the FCC. they annoy me. they're never going to do the right thing, and they're too afraid of using their balls to stand up to ridiculousness of protesters and families with fake family values in hopes of them getting some monetary compensation. it all boils down to money. sad huh? I would like if the FCC could adopt the Allstate Accident Forgiveness insurance concept. So what if u use the F word by accident, it shouldn't cause a hefty fine or some b.s. public uproar.. Small summons/slap on wrists, small, small fine and keep your job. Your rates won't go up or your job out the door. Jesus Christ, the F word is found everywhere.. F....u....ck i said it again... uh oh........... someone better hold onto this convo for the InternetCommunicationsCommission.

For how deliciously informed you seem to want to potray yourself, you are actually woefully ignorant.

XM has something called "XL" - which is basically the "R-Rating" for channels that has cursing and objectionable content. It's basically reserved for Opie and Anthony's channel, the hard rock/metal channels, the hardcore rap channels, and the like. Any channel without XL has NO cursing and no objectionable content - I.E. the "broke - broke" version of "Gold Digger", etc. etc.

One call to XM's Customer Service when you activate the radio, and they will automatically block those channels marked as "XL". They can even block channels without the XL designation if you so choose.

So, you MAY want to research your huffy statements just a LITTLE bit more, otherwise someone will call you out.

Republican Radio 101.5? Somehow, I doubt much will come of it!

Oh Please... Is everyone afraid to joke around these days. Since "Janet" the airwaves have become sterile because everyone is afraid of their own shadow.

By the way, all Sirius Satellite Radios have a channel block built in so you can restrict any channel you want from coming in.

But please don't destroy the freedoms that we still have left! I thik that is what our men and women are fighting for.

101.5 is about the only terrestrial radio I still listen to occasionally; for traffic, weather and some of the hosts who actuall still have personality.

No. I was just responding. Wondering if that headcase Dennis
Malloy reads these boards...is that you Dennis?

Give these two a break. As a fellow broadcaster I can tell you that since we've achieved peace, harmony, prosperity and crimelessness in New Jersey, The US and the World, it's tough to come up with enough content these days. I'm sure that Dennis and Judi simply had nothing left to talk about.

I did not hear the broadcast, but if the word was said, and it was done on purpose, and the FCC reveiws it, I would guess there will be at least one person looking for a job. Im no fan of the obscenity laws, in fact I think all content should be left up to the marketplace. But the crack down is serious, and most broadcasters have a strong, "one strike and you're out" policy, when it comes to blatent obscenity.

Do you keep your kids in plastic bubbles?
Go ahead everyone hide your kids from the world.
War,bad words, real life ,see how they survive once they get on their own.
How pathetic, people whining about bad words or a little janet jackson mishap makes me wonder what the world will be like in 10 years, everything will have rubber bumpers.I mean look at TV,they have logo boxes for copyrights, are people that dumb they dont know what channel they are on?Whats coming on next boxes in the corner. The people who whined about this won and we are all left with crap TV.Safe tv for children.I cancelled my tv totally,I watch DVDs now.
Radio is going the same way, nothing daring, boring playlists, talk FM (free-Fm NYC)borrrrrring.Nothing is exciting anymore, howard is on sattelite to dodge the FCC but how long until they gets wrecked by people who dont like cursing?
I used to like to DX with my radio,fm or am,now thats even not worth it.
Thank god for Xm and Sirius!

How exactly does someone "cancel" their tv? I found it amusing to picture him watching his DVDs, on a table, without use of a monitor.
