No fanfare for KPAZ analog shutdown

So now we have Channels 7, 21, 38, 39, 44, and 51 as digital only.

Isn't KAET the next one to drop analog, and move their digital to Channel 8 at the end of this month? And aren't the rest waiting until June 12?

Almost. Channels 38 and 44 still have analog signals.

K38IZ was supposed to be a displacement flash cut, but was allowed to keep their analog signal on ch 53 per STA. The only reason they moved was because Aloha Partners was supposed to launch their service in Phoenix on ch 54 and claimed interference. They never launched.

KPHE's analog signal is on 44; their digital companion channel (similar to the full-service stations') is on 16.

You're correct about KAET - that happens April 29 - but there will be two other early terminations.

Daystar station KDTP 11 Holbrook flash cuts to digital on April 30. Like KTAZ 39 Phoenix, KDTP had no digital companion channel, as their CP was issued after the companion channels where assigned.

Indie KAZT 7 Prescott drops analog and moves their digital from ch 25 to ch 7 on May 15.
