No hockey game seven on Versus

What happened to the New Jersey & Carolina game seven on Versus the other night? It wasn't shown on Comcast in the Boston area.

Apparently VS wasn't allowed to show more than 4-5 minutes of the third period. They went to the game right after the earlier game ended but then back to the studio and no more real time shots.

My guess is someone else had the broadcast rights in Joisey.

Ironically, MSG Network (Cablevision) owns the local rights to the Devils. In fact, they've locked up all three local NHL outlets. Including the Rangers, who call the MSG building their home. In fact, they, too, were playing in a Game 7 last night, with the Devils airing on the former Fox Sports New York, which is now known as "MSG Plus" (not to be confused with Dow Jones' short-lived broadcast TV "superstation" effort "S+" back in 1997). As it turns out, the Rangers lost, the Devils lost, and MSG is once again wishing it didn't piss away baseball rights. You think MSG got low ratings with hockey, just wait till the summer...
