Nope.
You know that guy who buys a perfectly nice new pickup truck and then beats the sh*t out of it mudding on back roads (opposed to buying a beater like everybody else)? That's Cumulus with these stations. They don't care, they don't wanna care, they just want to get everything they can get before they buy another. For them, these stations were chump change and another penny spent on them is another penny wasted.
Frankly, Saga is starting to look like the smartest guy in the room. They might slash staff now and again, but they also weathered the financial storm, are drawing a profit and have a good relationship with the community. Their strategy of buying mid-to-small-market stations works and is adaptable based on the market it serves.
That sounds like a business. Cumulus sounds like a garage sale.
