No Jock?

It is currently 3:40 PM Eastern time and I have not heard a D.J. on CBS-FM in quite a while. Are they running without a jock? If yes, then this is poor. Even having somebody tracking would be better than this.

Don't forget...usually when there's a format flip especially during the weekend the regular programming doesn't officially start until the following Monday. Also keep in mind Jeff Mazzei did indicate his show even though voice track would be heard over nights so will can safely assume this will start very soon probably on Monday. Look for more DJs coming soon...after all WCBS-FM isn't stupid they know what New Yorker wants on their Oldies station.

Live DJ's 24/7 with no voice track.

Most who listen to a music radio station listen for that station's particular music. They'll almost never make a decision whether or not to listen based on a disc jockey (unless that personality is super-high profile entertaining or bad beyond bad- most talent in our country fall somewhere between which means they're almost never a reason to listen or not to a particular station's music).

I disagree. People listen for the music, but in the morning, when their is less music, I think the DJ wins out over the music for the most part. I never liked the music on Stern's show but I liked Stern.

Well, sorry and no offense intended, but you are wrong. And, using Howard Stern as an example is silly- Stern is the exception to most rules.
