No local sports stations running Superbowl audio?

Just realized I didn't even check the FM band last night, but did anyone run the Superbowl? Tired of tuning into WWL to get any football audio throughout the season that's not the Cowboys.

(sorry, but sports, talk and news don't do it for me when done on FM...there's something about that AM "noise" that seems to give it all a sense of urgency and importance. Hearing long-drawn breaths and squeaking stools and paper fumbling in glorious stereo doesn't do a thing for me [tho I do miss KEWS.])

105.3 carried the radio broadcast.

Was that broadcast affected by the power outage?

According to Tom Taylor's blog yes...but they made a quick recovery via the miracle of the dual line cell phone. One for Kevin Harlan and one for Boomer.

Quick thinking on the part of the net control producer and board op!

I believe 105.3 carried all the Sunday and Monday night CBS Westwood One Dial Global games when the Cowboys weren't playing.

And the Thursday night package as well.
