No Mas for Espanol in Dade City....

...while Jesus still rules the airwaves at Tan Talk 1400 WZHR, Frank Sinatra is God in Dade City as 1350 WDCF unloaded their Spanish format for 1340 WTANs pickup of MOYL...and, perhaps the assorted day time for pay time format as well..

Es muy disapointamundo en las Dade City! Con mucho retireosos y los geezers en las areaones = mucho, mucho mas dinero para Dave y Lola! Si si!

No! Es saddamundo con no mas Dinah Washington, en Vic Damone, en Tony Orlando. Yo soy donde patient, son mucho mas dias! Eh? Si! EH!

Indeedamonde! Stomache growlamundo entade con Waffle House!

Not having a life, I took Jeff's last post...

No! Es saddamundo con no mas Dinah Washington, en Vic Damone, en Tony Orlando. Yo soy donde patient, son mucho mas dias! Eh? Si! EH!

Indeedamonde! Stomache growlamundo entade con Waffle House!

... and plugged it into http://babelfish.altavista.com/ and the results speak for themselves.

No! He is saddamundo with but Dinah Washington, in Vic Damone, Tony Not trimming. I am where patient, is but day much! Eh? If! EH! Indeedamonde! Stomache growlamundo entade with Waffle House!

Does this mean "Orlando" in Spanish means "not trimming ???"

Los sonidos como Dinah, Vic y Tony van a tener porciones de diversión.

Seriously, (and so this whole thread doesn't get bounced) how is it that so many smaller, local, AM stations that were once so much a part of their communities like WDCF, WZHR, WPSO, WTAN, seem to have fallen off the map ???

Meanwhile...just up the road in Brooksville, Steve Manuel has held onto and grown 1450 WWJB. They've got a good looking, useful website and a brand new broadcast vehicle (uh oh, I think I just broke the 10th Commandment about coveting !)

The answer my friend... is blowing in the wind !!!
