No Mention of Storms on WTIC overnight

The pre-recorded weather forecast during the 230AM News Update on WTIC 1080 made no mention of the thunderstorms. The pre-recorded forecast was for Clear to Partly Cloudy areas of fog. Low 60. No mention of any thunderstorms. Further more the news anchor also made no mention of the storms. He just said "Clear and 60 in Hartford." I've saw the radar on The Weather Channel, so clear in Hartford was accuarte, but tell that to the people who live between Waterbury-Meriden-New Haven.

http://www.weather.com was much better. Their radar clearly showed areas as close as Plainville and Bristol getting rocked (I'm in the south end of New Britain and I had quite the lightning show!)
