No more Baka Boyz on hot 957?

No more Baka Boyz on hot 957? I enjoyed listening to dance remixes and new dance releases, I havn't heard them the last 2 weekends? If I'm lucky I can pick up KTFM and listen to them.

I wish someone would pick up "Open House Party" with John Garabedian. http://www.openhouseparty.com/

This was carried on several stations when I lived in Louisiana and enjoyed it. (KSMB-Lafayette, KQID-Alexandria, and KTSR-De Quincy {Lake Charles}).

In combing through the affiliate list, I don't see any major cities listed. The show is top notch.

So there is only one outlet now of mix show format is hiphop now?

Open House Party used to be carried on KXXM here in town. I liked it. Now they have some generic show.

Open house and Baka boys are good, I wish Houston had both.

I remember listening to the Baka Boyz Hip Hop Master Mix in the early 2000's on KBBT, they were good then, so I would assume it's still good now.

I guess now I'll just download above and beyond podcast to my phone and listen over the weekend.

Re:

Open House Party is 15 years past its prime. That show needs to be put out to pasture.

Can't say I'm shocked that Hot 95.7 canceled the Baka Boyz. Judging from the station's playlist & overall stationality, they only seem interested in high school-aged female listeners from the suburbs. In the year 2015, a CHR station should strive to appeal to a broader base of listeners than that.

It is a mediocre sounding station overall.

I think having a tightly playlisted Adult CHR as a sister station (Mix 96.5) is limiting Hot 95.7's potential.

Actually I heard the Baka Boyz on Hot just this past Saturday night. I guess when you didn't hear it, must've been a one week thing.

I am also hearing new voice talent on the station now.

I wonder if this is a computer glitch they have? It wasn't on for the past 2 weeks when I was down. I had a gig last weekend so I didn't get to hear it. This also happened once before a while back.
