NO MORE BREAKFAST WITH THE BEATLES

What POS internet music rule maker ruined this program?? That's crap about not being able to run a single artist: how can SXM run all Elvis, or all Bruce or all GD, but not all Beatles for 2 hours?

I'm disappointed too, although, being away from "the business" for some time, I'm wondering if new ratings I'm not aware of show listeners tiring of the saturation of all-Beatles, including "Breakfast..." For me though, each episode was captivating, even if I'd already heard it.

It has something to do with these idiot DCMA rules about not having the same artist 3x an hour - except for channels that have deals with the record companies to have 'all Elvis' and 'all Bruce' channels. EMI/Capitol/Apple must not be willing to 'play ball' and they're just hurting themselves as the artists are forgetting the radio sells music for them.

Yes, the EMI/Capitol/Apple giants are shooting themselves in the foot. My question though-- are the artists themselves as happy as E,C & A about the 3X/hr stipulation?

I know it's fun to blame Sirius for stuff, but it could also be this. Chris Carter's show has been on terrestrial radio in LA for many years. Perhaps his corporate minders found out what he was doing, or decided after saying yes they meant no and made him take this idea off the satellite.

FWIW, there are TWO all-Beatles weekend shows in LA on regular radio. Different stations. Chris inherited the idea from Deidre O'Donahue who did the show for many years before her demise. She was the wife of the famous Tom Donahue of SF radio fame.
