No More Darren McFarland

It is my understanding that Don West is working full time for TNA Wrestling (Jeff Jarrett's Group) handling marketing and Merchandise Sales both On-Line and Over the Phone, so he may not be in the market for a Radio gig.
And how can the Zone justify cutting Darren McFarland in the guise of Cost Cutting if they turn around and bring Don West in?
 
Maybe Citadel could offset it somewhat with commission from Don West's sales of "rookie cards" on one of those shopping channels... ::)
 
I enjoyed his work for years (especially the two o'clock hr) in the afternoons.
Darren seemed willing to talk about All sports and topics (unlike others on that station).
Oh well, I wish him the best in the future and I think the show is going to suffer!
 
People being kicked out of radio right now and forced to find other jobs are the lucky ones. It is a dying industry.
