Miss 98 is running promos after almost every song saying they are leaving North Mississippi Monday morning at 7:20. What's up, a format change, sale or what?
 
probably a stunt. repositioning as something else. same format. but thats just a guess.
 
They're still the 4th rated station in the mkt. Ratings from a 10 to an 8 to a 6 in the last year, though. Source radioandrecords.com. I second the idea of a repositioning. Looks like WACR has done well the last year going from a 1.3 to a 5.9, not that it's relevant.

I am still amazed that the #2 rated station in Tupelo is a 6KW and #1 is a 28 KW when there are 4 or 5 100KW stations. It's all about the content.

There is a point there, of course, but remember, the Tupelo metro is small. It doesn't take much to cover it.
