No more Out of Sight Retro Night?

In looking at WGN America's schedule for the next couple of weeks I haven't seen any of the classic shows that have been on Sunday night listed. the last weekend in August was a Coach marathon, so I thought it was going to possibly be added to the retro schedule. Of course last Sunday they had the Jerry Lewis telethon. but in looking at the schedule for the next two Sundays the schedule they're running newer shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm, Old Christine, and How I Met Your Mother.

I had thought there might some changes in the lineup of shows, but I had hoped they would keep retro shows on Sunday night. Cheers is still on WGN on weekday afternoons and on Hallmark at times, but I'll defiitely miss Newhart and Barney Miller.

I wish WGN America would air sitcoms on Saturday AM's for those who miss them during the week. On Sunday AM's they will have Dharma & Greg,in addition to daily showings of D&G. Why don't they move it to late nights on Sundays?. Why not also do a Sunday AM sitcom lineup?.

I USED TO WATCH retro Sunday night on WGN when they had Alf, The Honeymooners and
Bewitched. When they replaced them...........I switched the channel.

I'm thinking after they got rid of them, ratings must have gone down. That may be why
it's gone.

I have found a good general rule of thumb to be that if there is a show out there that I
really enjoy watching, WGN is sure to cancel it.

You can now watch "Alf" anytime via YouTube.

And as far as "Bewitched"... wasn't WGN airing that for years, just like the other superstations?
