No more Paramount movies on TV (no longer distributed by CBS)?

It seems that a lot of movie studios have movie packages available for syndication--like NBC-Universal, which owns the rights to movies like American Pie, or Disney-ABC with movies like She's All That. Then there's the upcoming MGM movie package this fall. But according to paramounttv.com, "Paramount Pictures features are no longer distributed by CBS Television Distribution". Does this mean that CTD lost the syndication rights? And will there be a new distributor for Paramount movies?

Independent syndicator Trifecta Entertainment now has the rights to (at least one) Paramount movie package, as well as the DreamWorks package (which was with Tribune).

Just wondering....

Who watches movies on broadcast TV any more? They are usually loaded with more commercials than movie which completely detracts from the film.

We occasionally do. But only because we record them via our Tivo and 3x fast forward past the commercials, they dont tend to distract when you go past all of them in about 5 seconds.
