No more Retro Weekends on Coast

They still have a Retro Party on Saturday evenings with
"fun" songs from the 80's and 90's. This has devolved
from Totally 80's weekends, to retro weekends, to a party on Saturdays.

Maybe this is a way to sell HD Radios, which have all-80s on Coast's HD2.

Or not.

dont think anybody cares lol its obvious nobody has posted anything in this thread for days.
btw ppl let the 80's go with dignity just like the 70's. its time to move into the best of the 90's and Now...nobody in town specializes in 90's music. also id love to hear more 90's dance and upbeat songs instead of the same old pop/ rock/ crap etc... whos with me ?

would really love to know what radio market
city this is that your from that doesnt have a classics/80's station ?

Mid-Missouri (Lake of the Ozarks)

We have Classic Rock, Modern Pop, Country, More Country, Even More Country and one Soft Rock station. Small area too, tons of local stations....none that I like "That" much.

Plus where on earth will you find a DJ like Gnarly Charlie? No where i've seen thus far

Spring for an HD radio and you can have their 80's channel 24/7.

Some of the soft 80s and 90s hits can still be heard on Easy 93.1. In addition, they mix in a few urban 80's/90s hits on HOT 105. Also, with Majic's relaunch as Magic, they play 80s hits.

Already have that but let's face it, it's not even voice tracked...just liners. Nothing beat the shout imaging and having Gnarly on during the weekends. It's what made the Coast worth listening to in my opinion

Now? Well they sound like anyone else out there so I'd rather listen to SHE and MIA.
