No more RTV on WJTV

Saw an promo for "Antenna TV" on WJTV 12.3. They are dropping RTV on Sept 26. I'm going to miss The Rifleman and several other shows, but RTV has gotten stale anyway especially since they changed the line-up a couple of months ago. Looks like more old sitcoms will be on Antenna. My only complaint is they run episodes back to back which causes a show to burn out quickly.
 
I've just noticed the same ads recently. I think this will definitely be an upgrade since RTV lost so many good shows when their contract ended with Universal Pictures at the end of June.

I've also just started seeing ads on WLBT for Bounce TV starting 9/26. My first assumption was that it was going to replace This TV on 3.3, but after doing a search on digital channel assignments, it appears as if it is going to replace the WLBT Weather on 3.2. I'm surprised by that, but glad that WLBT is not replacing This TV.
 
I understand WKRG 5.3 Mobile/Pensacola is also dropping RTV soon. Believe KRG and JTV are both owned by Media General?
 
good to see "MeTV" added to WDBD. They both seem to have better shows than the current linup on RTV. If its on WDBD's subchanel they really wouldn't need WXMS. The only people that would watch WXMS would be for people that still have an old analog clunker in the bedroom that doesn't have a converter box. Which I have as a matter of fact.

Maybe they could put RTV on WAPT or WUFX's subchannel. BTW. WUFX would benifit if they would convert to HD. Its still 480i even on the Saints games. WRBJ CW34 BTW is a joke. They broadcast in 720p HD, but everything fed to the transmitter is in SD. resulting in "windowboxing" of all CW programming. Its worse when its a 4:3 show on CW. It looks like a youtube video in the middle of the screen.
