NO MORE STEVE WEST ON WJBR WEBSITE!!!!

Noticed on the WJBR website that afternoon guy steve west is no longer there.

Awful sudden as i heard him on there a week or two ago.

Any news on this?

It will be good to have Mike back in the market. I remember him from WSTW when I was working there.
 
Mike Sommers has gotten booted from every job he's had in the last 10 years, except maybe DBC/Milford. If I'm not mistaken, he brought Steve West to Eagle 97 then left and went to Philly. Steve went to 'JBR -- now Mike comes in and gets Steve booted from 'JBR so he has a job after Greated Media ousted him from WBEN. I give him 2 years tops before he's out there too.
 
In today's radio climate as the bottom is dropping out on many stations with financially over-extended owners, a 2-year stint is a miracle.

Owners cannot afford to stick with someone who may need several books to turnaround an operation the owners have messed up. Unfortunately, the owners do not have the fortitude to hang in that long.
