No more Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN Radio?

Your affiliate is not airing it. It is still offered.

It is also possible that it could have been blacked out if you are in a market that has an affiliate of one of the teams that was playing as Sunday Night Baseball is on ESPN Radio's main feed. In my market, the ESPN Radio outlet has had to air alternate programming fed by ESPN Radio if the Cubs are on Sunday Night Baseball for this reason.

No, my ESPN is not being subjected to a blackout unless Atlanta's playing. They've yet to air Sunday Night Baseball this season and just this weekend, didn't air any of the NBA playoff games (though they did air regular season games).

BTW, I'd wish ESPN would air something other than The Sporting Life. ESPNEWS would be fine.

Maybe the station in your market that airs ESPN Radio doesnt have the rights to Carry NBA or MLB Games anymore. maybe those rights got scooped up by another station in the market

I Operate a ESPN Radio affiliate they have taken the NBA, & MLB games off their regular programming feed. So affiliates has the option to carry the games or not carry the games now.

No, not the case. The only pro teams that are aired locally that would affect an ESPN Radio broadcast are the Braves and New Orleans Hornets (soon to be Pelicans).

I said maybe your ESPN Radio station doesnt have the local rights to carry the national NBA & MLB Games due to another station in your market gaining control of those rights

AKA Your ESPN Station may not be able to carry the games since another station in the market paid more to ESPN to carry the national ESPN MLB & NBA Games. in terms of saying this for my area the local ESPN Station is WFNI. but say WXNT the CBS Radio Affiliate paid more to ESPN to air the NBA/MLB Games. WFNI couldnt carry those games because WXNT Outbid WFNI for the game rights so WXNT airs them instead of WFNI even though WFNI is the ESPN Affiliate here.

Understand what im saying

Really, or did my local affiliate decide not to air it? I've been hearing The Sporting Life on Sunday nights.

Under some of the more recent affiliate agreements, if affiliates do not meet certain conditions for clearing shows and ads in other timeslots, they have to pay extra fees to ESPN to carry certain live sporting events.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. As of right now, no other station in the market is carrying an MLB or NBA team besides the one that's a Braves and Hornets/Pelicans affiliate. I don't know if that or another will, though I have no idea either way if it'll happen.
