no more sunday night blues on WCCC

While WCCC and the Beef Stew Show is not my cup of tea, it's sad that a unique radio show will be going away. Here's a Bristol Press Article intersperced with a listing of area "BLUES" events. http://www.bristolpress.com/WebApp/....content=/TBP/Home/TopStoryList_Story_1614513

He will still be involved with Beethoven Radio 1290 AM and 106.9 HD2.

While I don't know if it's the same kind of "Blues" you fans of "Blues Music" can check out the syndicated "The House of Blues" show hosted by Dan "Elwood Blues" Ackroyd Saturdays 5PM-6PM on WMRD 1150 AM in Middletown and its simulcast partner WLIS 1420 AM in Old Saybrook.

that is sad,
allthough I am not a big blues fan, I think it is a very good show.
I hope WCCC might consider trying to find a replacement blues guy.

I had a suspicion this was coming, well either this or something of the kind because WCCC for the past 2 weeks or so has been urging listeners to call the WCCC listener suggestion line (860)527-ROCK with suggestions for a specialty show on the weekends. I personally would like to see a metal show, it is usually very successful in other Active Rock markets i.e. Boston, harder faster on WAAF or out of the pit on WGIR in NH.

I second getting a metal show on WCCC like eddie trunk. 105 TOS does sunday night Metal Church all hairbands you would dream of hearing on the radio or Just like my radio show focusing on music that people would lease expect on the radio to keep them tuned in to see whats next
