No more syndication for Severin

So says a trustworthy source. Guess they finally admitted that no one wants to hear a Boston show outside of Boston.

I haven't checked today but as of the other day the Westwood One site still listed his show, complete with an
"on the show today" page that hadn't been updated since about Labor Day, a list of stations, etc.; it still
listed the show as "Jay Severin Has Issues" with a time slot of 7 pm. Greater Media had bought out the rest of Jay's contract but the word was that any station that wanted to carry him could do so (I assume GM would
have handled any "affiliates" by that point)

Update: just checked W1's page and his face is still up the top, and this is the info page just as I'd
described it. Am sure they'll get to that eventually...His show nationally lasted 9 months and it was his
"desire to get back to Boston" that made him give it up, I guess (that plus prob. lackluster ratings,
sports pre-emptions, and W1 wanting to shed salary. They did add Nashville's Phil Valentine though)

Confirmation now coming in from elsewhere. Not sure when his last syndicated day is yet...
