No more Top 8 @ 8 on KTU

:( :( :( :( :(

It's a sad time for dance fans. Not that we had some great station but at least we had a mix of currents and classics. Now NYC. has 2 movin' stations...???!!! ???

I understand the demographic they're trying to appeal to being women 25-54, which sells...ok, a proven fact but if MIX 102.7 already targeted that demographic and wasn't doing too well why would CC deside to flip KTU too?
They can't be that stupid..?!

Especially since WKTU was already appealing to this demo (among others) and billing well. Far more than WNEW.

The open house party at 9pm has also been cut to only 30 mins from a full hour.Notice also that they are mixing in more chr pop songs and hardly any current dance.

In terms of Current Dance Music KTU is dead. Thats why The Metro New York Dance Music Radio Coalition is back and even stronger!

I guess I don't love my KTU no more! And besides, the station has not been the same since Skyy left.

Even sadder, you have a better chance hearing a current dance song on Mix 102.7 than on KTU! Clear Channel has RUINED that station! ???

KTU sounds a helluva lot better than Mix does at the moment.

Of course, that's just my personal taste.

The playlist of Mix 102.7 is beginning to sound like a blend of the old CBS-FM (the Motown and 70's oldies part of it anyway) and Lite-FM (upbeat/rhythmic songs by 'Lite' artists) Hell, they even play Barry Manilow now, and the Stylistics, and Lionel Richie. Too Lite for me!
