No More UPN or WB Logo

I noticed tonight that on network programing UPN and WB aren't showing their logos. But on The WB they are showing the new The CW logo saying Coming This September. Not sure if its just on my WB which is WB Plus. But I have been seeing many CW promos and all. Anyone else notice this? Also I think UPN should be showing the CW logo also. That would sure give FOX owned UPN's a kick in the butt as their all going to be My Networks.
 
Here in Philadelphia, WPHL, soon be the MY afffiliate is not showing any bug and WPSG soon to be The CW is also not showing a bug either.
 
When I caught WPSG in the eight o'clock hour, they had their "Philly 57 The CW" logo up as their bug with "THIS FALL" under it. When I checked back tonight during Dr. Phil, its still there, so I assume its their permanent new bug.
 
Here in Sacramento on KQCA it has the bug you describe... "Coming this September CW" but the CW is overlaped with KQCA's "WB 58" logo blocking out the CW logo so it says "Coming this September WB 58."
 
On WRWB-TV in rochester they just show a logo that has a 16 and "TV" above it. So "TV 16". Its been like that for a month now, they got rid of the WB part awhile ago.
 
I watched a small part of "7th Heaven" last night on KMYQ in Seattle. Before the opening credits, it had "Coming in September - The CW", but after that, no bug at all. I only watched the first fifteen minutes or so off and on.
 
In my area:

WKCF-18 (WB > CW) did not show any station/network bugs at all over the WB programs

WRBW-65 (UPN > MNTV) did the same over the UPN programs
 
I'm in Savannah, Georgia. I have DIRECTV so I do not know what WBVH (WB 15), Savannah's Comcast-based part of The WB 100+ is doing. WNUV-Baltimore (WB 54) is simply running the 'COMING THIS SEPTEMBER THE CW' logo.

As for our UPN affiliate, WGSA, which will become Savannah's affiliate for The CW next month, they're still only running the programming with the burned-in UPN logo. Nothing else. For other programming (syndicated fare, etc.) WGSA is still putting their 'UPN 13' logo up. I hope they're prepping for logo changes and a new imaging campaign before September arrives.
 
NYC: UPN logo gone, WB logo still around

UPN9 (WWOR) is now called my9 on the air and online.

WB11 (WPIX) is running ads on buses and in movie theaters to introduce CW11. Station's website has a new address but for now continues to use the WB logo.
 
WSBK (UPN38) has a new website with the new TV38 logo and design. However, all on-air non-UPN programming still refers to "The U" UPN38. It said somewhere TV38 would sign back on the air (since 1995) on September 1. However, they will continue to air UPN programming through Sept. 15.
 
The WB and UPN in Iowa

On KWKB, there was a bug that said COMING THIS FALL--THE CW which was displayed during Seventh Heaven Monday and Gilmore Girls Tuesday, but not during Blue Collar TV and One Tree Hill on Wednesday. I think I've seen this bug during Supernatural, too. However, this bug is not present during the "Daytime WB" segment. The KIDS' WB logo is still present on all Saturday morning programs. The strange part about KWKB is that I saw a promo for The Megan Mullally Show (the "mini-mini moo-moo" promo), and the station voiceover said that it was "coming this fall to the WB". How strange is that? Anyway, as for UPN shows on WBQD-LP, the only time that the UPN logo is still present is during the weekend movie (check local listings).
 
WBGP Ch. 7 Biloxi-Gulfport MS, which is part of the WB +100 group, is only displaying COMING THIS SEPTEMBER THE CW logo
 
Here in Tallahassee Fla/Thomasville GA I have DIRECTV and WFXU part of the WB+100 is runing the CW logo on the bottom of the tv as well. WFXU is also on comcast cable 6 in Tallahassee area.
 
I think that all the bugs you people are talking about is put on by the local stations and not the network. Because not all WB affiliates are switching to the The CW. Some are going My Network, independent or some other network affiliation.

WTTV Indianapolis is still using the WB4 logo on air (it's being shown on NFL Network during the Colts-Saints repeat as I write this) and on their website, although their www.wb4.com URL is redirected to www.thecw4.trib.com (with WB4 as its title).
 
Talked to a friend at the local WB (to-be CW) station. He said that the network feed is clean and now contains no bug and that to-be CW stations are being asked to run the "Coming in September" bug. The to-be MNTV stations are welcome to run a bug promoting that station, but have been supplied with the old WB bug if they prefer to run that instead. Most have chosen to leave it blank.

Something interesting is I guess the UPN voiceover guy is out of work because all of the promos I'm hearing are voiced by the old WB guy. Forgive me for not remembering his name.
