No NFL Game 2 on Fox 5 Today

I watched the Giants game at 1pm on Fox today, and after that was supposed to be the Patriots game as part 2 of a doubleheader. Fox 5 in NYC did not show it. Is that because the Jets were playing at 4pm on CBS? Do they get exclusive TV rights in NYC?

1) Yes.
2) Yes.

It was just as well

Fox6/San Diego and Fox13/Tampa Bay didn't air a late game either. The Cheaters (er, Patriots) ran up the score.

Speaking of the Giants, all Fox stations with an early game aired the opening kickoff from Wembley. Fox included the US and British national anthems for the occasion.

And, more importantly, the Jets were playing at home.

To state the obvious: Had they been on the road, the game likely would have been cleared in New York.

No. Fox 29 in Philly showed the Birds. The "cheaters" er Pats (the best team in football without cheating) are going to eat up the Giants (and the Birds) too.

After the opening kickoff of Giants-Dolphins from London. Fox made it very clear -- twice. There was a studio intro by "Fox NFL Sunday" host Curt Menefee and a PxP outcue as the Dolphin offense took the field.

The only cities to not air the start of Giants-Dolphins were Charlotte, Cincinnati, Nashville and St. Louis.
