No one cares....

He may be referring to the Radio Hall of Fame put on by Chicago's Museum of Broadcast Communications.

Actually, I was mistaken. There is a hall of fame, and it is under the NAB.

BTW, Tim Wenger from WBEN was also inducted last night, so it was a big night for Audacy. They were well-represented at the event. Even Janet's mom & dad showed up. Maybe Paul Snyder will buy what's left of Audacy Buffalo if he can get a public subsidy to pay a substantial part of the cost.
No public money unless some of them can catch a 30-yard pass.

There's plenty of public money and tax breaks for developers, especially if they can prove something is historic or they promise lots of jobs created or saved. I think Audacy Buffalo has already disqualified itself on those grounds.

Well thanks for acknowledging one. We all make them.
The NAB site has been around for a while.

It's interesting that Nikola Tesla's wireless experiments actually pre dated Marconi's. Perhaps the Marconi Awards should have been Tesla's. The Niagara River was one site of Tesla's experiments...

Janet has a sort-of diverse crew of 50-somethings. It sounds like she's got the 18-34 moms and the 34-44s who shop at "Forever 21" and their kids. As mentioned, none of the above are well-represented on this board.
Ok _ well said.
I didn't mean to be so disrespectful in my OP, but with me, less is more

Some thoughts for me on Janet's induction into the BBHOF: First, respect needs to be put on her name for what she's accomplished. Second, consider this: When she moved over to AM drive all those years ago, females were seen as the sidekick to the male half of the morning show-at least in Buffalo. Not anymore. Look at how many women are the lead in mornings or do the show solo in Buffalo:

-Laura Daniels/WHTT
-Liz Mantel/WLKK
-Cassiday Procter/WEDG(she's the Cass of Cass & Anthony; personally, I consider her a younger, hipper, somewhat more adult version of Janet)

Laura Daniels was/is a horrible choice for the morning show on WHTT.
