No one even SNIFFED this one...

it is not hard to believe...but,
this day and age, the era of
personalized playlists and social media...
It was kind of shocking.

Why? Well, about a decade ago, every jock
in the nation said...log onto our website and
listen live. Or, click on the link for the contest, etc...

Now.
An on-air talent will still reead the copy and
direct you to the comapny website when required,
however they are unable to control the content on
the website of the official station page..
so every dj in the world, gives the same rundown
follow me on twitter, find me on face book,
im at ______ hash tag_____

and the other reason:
Its all about "pandora radio." Being the oldest at my job, the
" kids " showed me how pandora operates and I was
in disbelief. Type in a genre, or artist and you got that format..
better yet, I was able to listen to a niche format!

Honestly, for me... It was all about Harv Moore. Sure I enjoyed the music, but I really liked listening to Harv again. I'm not trying to "justify" my actions, but that was the main reason I found myself into it. Harv always had a quick joke or something to say, and I enjoyed hearing his voice again. I've missed it. I will miss it again now.

Apples and Oranges

Apple: The business side, I think everyone took "offense" to
the knee jerk comments and the breakdown of how 'no one'
knew; versus np pne could or wanted to report it.

Oranges: From the side of being fan of an on-air
talent, I can relate and understand what you are missing...
and it is usually the business side that makes the
decision seem like it is not the correct choice.

I also am sorry to see Harv Moore off the air again. I understand the choices made, and demographic realities, but it's always hard to lose another entertaining personality - even voice-tracked - in favor of the equavalent of canned SPAM.
