NO RECEPTION OF FOX 64 IN RI

On a TV with rabbit ears it was there Monday but no reception at all since Tuesday. Anyone else having this problem? I've even switched from one indoor antenna to another but nothing.

Assuming you're talking about analog channel 64, where in Rhode Island are you? Are the other analog channels coming in like usual?

According the FOX Providence (WNAC-TV) website, the analog signal of Channel 64 will be back sometime today (Thursday). I'm sure Mike Fitzpatrick, 64's excellent Chief Engineer is on top of it. They are probably doing some work in preparation for the eventual migration of WNAC-DT's signal to Channel 12.

Or, they may be fixing something that was intermittent...

Piece of transmission line burned up. Line was replaced thursday and the signal returned full power friday.

And for the record, I am just the transmitter engineer, not the chief. I don't represent the station in any way shape or form.
Those opinions are strictly my own.

Moonstruck, I have to ask. Have you received your digital box yet? Our digital signal wasn't affected during the outage.
If you have a digital box, you could have kept on watching. (Our feeds to cable/satellite are direct and also weren't affected).

No I'm not bothering with a digital box. I'm just going to buy a new TV as the February date gets closer. This TV is old anyway and I'm not a big TV watcher anyway but tuned in just to check out the syndicated Deal Or No Deal out of curiosity.
